Corporate Team Building in San Francisco — Since 2011
For over 15 years, TeamBuilding ROI has been the Bay Area’s go-to partner for corporate team building in San Francisco. As a locally-owned company headquartered right here in the Bay Area, we understand SF companies in a way that out-of-town competitors simply can’t. We know your venues, your neighborhoods, your traffic patterns, and your team’s expectations for a world-class experience.
Since 2011, we’ve delivered hundreds of team building events across San Francisco — from intimate 10-person leadership offsites at boutique hotels to 500-person all-hands celebrations at waterfront venues. Every event is designed, staffed, and delivered by our own team. Nothing is outsourced.
What makes us different from national team building companies:
• No travel fees. Ever. We’re based in the Bay Area, so we don’t charge you to fly facilitators in from out of state. What you see is what you pay — no hidden load-in fees, no per-diems, no fuel surcharges.
• Local knowledge. We know which SF venues have the best AV, which neighborhoods work for scavenger hunts, and how to plan around SF Bay Area event logistics.
• Same-day flexibility. Because we’re local, we can adjust on the fly — traffic delays, last-minute room changes, weather pivots — without missing a beat.
• Proven with SF’s biggest names. Fortune 500 tech companies, life sciences leaders, and creative agencies choose us again and again — including Visa, Apple, Meta, ByteDance, Netflix, Intuit, Adobe, Genentech, and Lam Research.

Frequently Asked Questions About Team Building in
San Francisco
How much does team building in San Francisco cost?
SF team building programs from TeamBuilding ROI typically range from $75 to $175 per person depending on program, group size, venue, and add-ons. There are no travel fees because we’re locally based in the Bay Area. We provide a free custom quote within 24 hours — just tell us your group size and preferred program.
Do you charge travel fees for San Francisco events?
No. TeamBuilding ROI is headquartered in the Bay Area, so we never charge travel, load-in, or fuel fees for SF events. National competitors flying facilitators in from other states often add $500–$3,000+ in travel costs. With us, your quote is your final price.
What size groups can you accommodate in San Francisco?
We regularly run SF events for groups from 10 people up to 500+. Smaller groups (10–30) work well for hands-on programs like Robot Rally or scavenger hunts. Larger groups (100+) are ideal for Game Show Roundup and Global Games. If you have a group over 500, contact us and we’ll design a custom solution.
How far in advance should we book a San Francisco team building event?
LFor most programs, 3–6 weeks of lead time is ideal. For large events (150+ people) or events in peak season (Q4, June), 8–12 weeks is better. That said, we’ve pulled off great last-minute events with as little as 5 business days — call us and ask.
Can you run team building at our San Francisco office?
Yes. Most of our programs — Game Show Roundup, Robot Rally, Global Games — work in any office conference room or open space. We bring all equipment, AV, and materials. If your space is tight, our scavenger hunts get your team out into the city.
What San Francisco neighborhoods do you run scavenger hunts in?
We run team scavenger hunts across SoMa, the Financial District, Mission Bay, Pier 39, Union Square, and other SF neighborhoods based on your group’s starting location. Each hunt is professionally facilitated with live scoring, photo challenges, and local landmarks that make the experience feel uniquely San Francisco.
Are your San Francisco programs indoor or outdoor?
Both. Game Show Roundup, Robot Rally, and Global Games are indoor programs that work in any hotel ballroom or office. Scavenger hunts are outdoor (rain-or-shine — we have poncho backup plans). Many clients combine both: an indoor program in the morning, scavenger hunt after lunch.
