Where We Run Team Building in Southern California
Three metros, one team. Pick the city closest to your group and see the venues, programs, and pricing for that area.
Los Angeles
Downtown lofts, studio backlots, and hotel ballrooms across LA County.
Orange County
Coastal resorts and conference hotels from Newport Beach to Laguna Niguel.
San Diego
Waterfront ballrooms, bayfront lawns, and beach venues across San Diego County.
Southern California Venues We Know Well
We work wherever you book, from downtown Los Angeles lofts to Orange County resorts to the San Diego waterfront. These are spaces we know well: the load in, the power, the AV, and which room actually fits the group size you are bringing.
The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel
Oceanfront on Pacific Coast Highway with Huntington City Beach directly across the street. Sixteen indoor and outdoor venues across more than 50,000 square feet, including ocean view ballrooms and the Vista Lawns, handling groups from 10 to 650. Our first pick for Sandcastle Crusade and any program that should end with everyone's shoes off.
Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina
On the bay at 333 West Harbor Drive, steps from the San Diego Convention Center and the Gaslamp Quarter, with its own 424 slip marina. Roughly 277,000 square feet of function space across 83 venues, including a Grand Ballroom seating over 3,700. When a group runs into the thousands and everyone needs to be in one room, this is the answer.
Grass Room | Downtown Los Angeles
A 6,000-square-foot greenhouse in DTLA's North Sea neighborhood, built in the 1920s and now a courtyard of tropical planting under a 35-foot glass roof with retractable shades. Brick floors, textured clay walls, a grotto bar, and a back alley lounge looking out at the downtown skyline. This is where we go when a team wants downtown LA with character rather than a hotel ballroom.
Balboa Bay Resort | Newport Beach
Fifteen acres on Balboa Bay and the only waterfront resort in Newport Beach. Over 30,000 square feet of recently redesigned indoor and outdoor space, with thirteen breakout rooms and a bayfront lawn looking out at the marina and Lido Island. A strong fit for leadership groups and executive offsites that want the coastline without a convention scale property.

Southern California Team Building FAQs
How much does team building in Southern California cost?
Southern California team-building programs from TeamBuilding ROI typically range from $75 to $175 per person, depending on the program, group size, venue, and add-ons. There are no travel fees because we’re locally based in Southern California. We provide a free custom quote within 24 hours — just tell us your group size and preferred program.
Do you charge travel fees for Southern California events?
No. Our Southern California pricing already includes everything it takes to get our team and equipment to your venue, whether that is Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, or Ventura County. The quote you receive is the price you pay.
What size groups can you accommodate in Southern California?
Six to six thousand. Small groups run as a single facilitated session in a conference room or private space. Large groups run as multiple simultaneous stations with a lead host and a team of facilitators. We have run intimate leadership offsites at Balboa Bay Resort and full-scale events in the ballrooms at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina.
How far in advance should we book a Southern California team building event?
Four to six weeks is comfortable for most programs. Larger groups, custom builds, and anything tied to a specific venue benefit from more lead time. That said, we run last minute events regularly, so if your date is close, ask anyway. September through December books fastest, so holiday events are worth locking in early.
Can you run team building at our Southern California office?
Yes, and it is what we do most. We bring the entire event to you: equipment, hosts, scoring, setup, and breakdown. A conference room, a cafeteria, a courtyard, or a parking lot all work. Tell us what space you have, and we will tell you which programs fit it.
What Southern California neighborhoods do you run scavenger hunts in?
We build the route around wherever you are. Popular ones include the DTLA Arts District, Santa Monica and the Pier, Pasadena’s Old Town, Huntington Beach Pier and Main Street, Balboa Island and the Newport waterfront, and San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter and Embarcadero. If your venue is somewhere else entirely, we will design a route around it.
Are your Southern California programs indoor or outdoor?
Most run either way. Southern California weather means we run outdoors more often than anywhere else we work, and programs like Sandcastle Crusade only exist because of the coastline. When we plan a beach or lawn event we confirm an indoor backup with your venue at the time of booking, so a marine layer morning does not cost you the event.
